My beloved cat that just last week passed away was solid black, and I have never known a sweeter more loving animal. There are many people out there that ARE superstitious and believe black cats are bad luck, however I don't think that is the problem.
Maybe try advertising a little more? There are many ad sites where you can list your ad and your area, and also try those penny-saver type papers. If that doesn't work, you can always ask around when you are at work/grocery shopping etc. |

no its silly. they are cats like any other. you could get some people's blonde hair dye and make a white spot on his chest. he couldn't lick it and it wouldn't grow out for some time and then they'll be attached to him and love him evenwhen he's solid black...........make a cute video of him and post it to youtube, that will make him famous and someone local will want him

some people may be superstitious but more than likely no-one was looking for a kitten. i worked for a vet and they had a pet cat all black and he was gorgeous and really friendly.

I love my black cat, coloration shouldnt matter. Alot of people belive that black cats are bad luck, but for someone who really would give the kitten a good home would want it just as it is. Maybe try posting ads at your local humane society.
