Dogs Fighting: A Banned Misdemeanor
Speaking of pastime, dogs fighting events were first considered as a form of leisure. Many reports have revealed that most of those who watch and participate in the event are those who treat the fighting as a great way to enjoy their free time. Some appreciate it for the reason that dogs fighting somehow mirrors life as something so cruel, yet challenging, while others participate in the game not just for fun but for profit. Yes, money has been the primary reason that hundreds of people have turned into dogs fighting. They say that it's the best and quickest way to earn money. But, if we will look at it with a sense of morality involved, dogs fighting and dogs fighters have no place in this world. But the question is why dogs are used for fighting? Is it their nature to fight against each other? Well, the concept of dogs fighting came out following the recognition that dogs, by nature, are strong and brave. They have the capabilities to guard their properties and defend themselves from intruders and abusers. They were in fact seen in the early days as capable of fighting against beasts, including bears, lions, boars, tigers, donkeys and badgers. Aside from that, dogs of all breeds can be trained easily, and as you may realize, dogs honor loyalty. They come and lick your face even after you've treated them the wrong way. It is for these facts basically that many people have started training their dogs for protection and began sending them off to fight against each others. The event, however, was stopped and later banned when many moralists started to use their voices to protect animals, especially dogs, from any cruelty. They all carry the notion that just like humans, dogs have the right to live safely and peacefully. And, with a level of greatness attached in their names, dogs should be rewarded with compassion and praise, not scars, blood, pain and death. So if you support dogs fighting, it's not yet too late for you to change. Engaging in this kind of activity is after all not a safe endeavor, with it being considered throughout the world as unlawful. |
